Dr. Agarwal-Sinha, was born and raised in India. She obtained her MD degree from the University of Rajasthan in Jaipur, India, where she also completed her ophthalmology residency. She then completed a clinical retina fellowship at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, India. After moving to the United States, Dr. Agarwal-Sinha completed a retina research fellowship at the University of Florida, followed by a clinical fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, and an internship in general surgery at Robert Pack Hospital in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Agarwal-Sinha joined the UW in 2022 as an Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Her clinical and research interests focus on retinopathy of prematurity, anti-VEGF treatment, pediatric retinal imaging, pediatric retinal diseases, and pediatric strabismus.
Dr. Agarwal-Sinha lives in Seattle, Washington, with her dog. Her husband is a Professor at Virginia Tech in the department of Civil Engineering. Her pastimes include traveling and spending time with her husband, cooking, biking, and hiking with her dog,
