Dr. Manookin earned his Ph.D. in 2009 studying Neuroscience from the University of Michigan. He completed his postdoctoral training at the University of Washington with Drs. Maureen and Jay Neitz from 2011 to 2014.

Maureen and Jay Neitz from 2011 to 2014.He joined the Vision Science Center at University of Washington in 2012 and the faculty of the Department of Ophthalmology at University of Washington in 2014. Dr. Manookin lives in Seattle with his wife and two children.
