Dr. Ko completed her medical degree at Brown University in Providence, RI. After a year-long internship at the Cabrini Medical Center, she remained in New York, where she completed her residency in ophthalmology at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. Later, she obtained additional training in cornea and external disease at the Doheny Eye Institute in Los Angeles, CA.

She joined UW Medicine in September 2015 and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Ophthalmology. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Providing her patients with the information they need to make an informed decision about their care is her main priority. She treats patients who need help in the diagnosis and management of comprehensive and corneal eye conditions such as cataracts, dry eye, glaucoma, and ocular surface diseases. Dr. Ko lives on Mercer Island and enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two children.
